Cap Elevators

• Caps are the closures applied to containers once the filling process is over. They are stored in the cap-hoppers of a capping machine, wherein the cap elevator feeds the caps from the ground level into the cap hopper.

  The cap elevator starts and stops as per the signal given by the cap sensor. The machine itself consists of a hopper, conveyor, discharge end and a stand for supporting itself alongwith the electrical panel.

  Herein, caps are loaded on to the hopper of the cap elevator. The capacity of the hopper is based on the speed of the capping machine. This hopper is mounted on the vertical conveyor which has a cleated belt at a specific pitch. The conveyor is driven by the electric motor through the worm reduction gearbod.

  The caps are carried on the belt through the cleats up to the discharge end, the height of which is adjustable, and delivered into the cap hopper of the machine.
